What companies should consider with p3o adoption

Similar to taking a business analysis training course, or attending change management training, when attending a p3o training course, one should look at the model presented, and how best to use this model within the current company environment.

Employing a p3o model has in several cases shown to significantly increase an organization’s ability to successfully deliver its strategy. This reduces benefit loss and allows the organization to deliver programs and projects more cost effectively.

While business analysis training teaches students to focus on detailed information, and change management training teaches overall change, the p3o training allows the student to maintain a focus on the “big picture.” This creates an understanding of the business change portfolio and allow the student to more fully understand the established performance indicators which lead to success.

Although it is important that every business have an understanding of multiple modalities, by investing in change management training and business analysis training, p3o adoption allows the leveraging of these techniques within the system it creates. This system allows the company to be more fluid, by maximizing its ability to change, and preventing departments from being overloaded by a flood of initiatives. Instead, these initiatives can be launched gradually, allowing success in each before moving on to the next. It also provides support for each one of these initiatives, monitoring them. This ensures that only the right programs are launched.
